a little over a year ago I made a little book of cyanotypes. it has images on every page and the book is tiny. It’s a book whose images change over time, it is not static but kinetic as a result of the materials used. Like the island I had been photographing neither the natural surroundings of Chepiwanoxet nor its histories are static.
I recently made another small book of cyanotypes. It’s not as small, and not as kinetic. It’s made on pages that are more like cardboard than book pages that are thin. The pages of this new book are not all regular sized but irregularly shaped and sized. like the first book it is stitched together by hand.
