I have been making reimagined landscapes for over a year. They are there but they aren’t there. They are from my imagination and formed on paper with photo chemistry. The images are sometimes made using a camera and somehow turned into something else.

I made a photogram the other night by scattering materials on a sheet of black and white photo paper and exposing it to light and this was the result. It reminds me of the Tornado in Kentucky and has prompted me to sell copies of this image and donate $$ from image sales to relief efforts.

I am a Freelance Photographer in Rhode Island. I make photographs using a variety of methods with and without a camera, and I teach photography online and in person. I make photo emulsions from scratch, I coat my own photo paper and make cyanotypes too. I am a huge fan of Caffenol ( I helped write the Caffenol Cookbook ) and instead of instant coffee, I roast my own Sumatra Robusta beans. I sell them so you can make your own long lasting, film and print developer called Sumatranol. I also sell silver recovery products.
