Instead of using a Delmar box camera I used my a Graflex SLR.
These old lenses render the world in such a different way than modern lenses.

I photographed the paper negative as it was drying on the line, and it showed me a different place than where I was. Instead of photographing the pay phone next to the convenience store I saw ancient cities made of stone.

Instead of the abandoned flower shop, I saw an 1870s view of Market Square in Providence RI.

Sometimes I saw what was there but seen completely different.

Sometimes it shows a mundane building looking like an expressionist painting.
